Katie Mintle is an artist, singer, songwriter, and harpist. Whether she’s playing for a wedding ceremony or recording in the studio, Katie always brings a special warmth to the room with her music. She currently sings harmonies for three Colorado bands; Thom Lafond, Duncan Coker, and Ryan Dart. Her own band is a folk duo called Lil Sheriff.

This painting was a commission for an album artwork. The abandoned boat surrounded by desolate desert seems to stand alone as a remnant of another time, a long journey’s end.
